Immunization program towards achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Bangladesh

Last one decade, the immunization coverage being in the stagnant position accounting for 84% in Bangladesh

Collaborating with United Nation Children`s Fund (UNICEF), academic experts, and government stakeholders, we advocate to engage field level as well as policy makers for addressing health resources issue and mobilizing domestic financing for immunization by 2029. This project aims to provide Technical Assistance (TA) support to EPI Headquarters, DGHS, NGO/CSOs for a sustainable immunization program in Bangladesh. Advocacy efforts is targeted to improve coordination of immunization in urban areas, particularly in Dhaka North & South City Corporations. Documentation of best practices and establishment of feedback mechanisms is stressed for enabling continuous improvement in immunization program. The ultimate goal of the project is to achieve enhanced immunization coverage and improved health outcomes by the set deadline.
